Account Manager - Badger Thermal Unlimited, LLC : Job Details

The primary focus of this position will be working with customers to identify specific Steam/Hydronic system issues and offer creative solutions. A successful candidate will visit existing and potential customers, maintain current business relationships as well as foster new ones.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide engineered solutions for and sales of new equipment, parts and supplies to a broad range of prospects and customers that are using steam and hydronic heating.

Provide field technical support to customers.

Assist customers with identifying correct replacement parts and working closely with our Inside Customer Service team through order and delivery.

Managing and monitoring customer satisfaction.

Prepare quotations for mechanical contractor's design build projects.

Work cooperatively with inside Customer Service Team.

Assist with Customer Service Technical Training.

Consistently learn and accurately apply product knowledge to help solve customer issues.

Work will be a combination of in office and at customer's facilities. Approximately 25-50% on site/travel expectation within Southeastern Wisconsin.

Requirements:

BS degree in a technical field, preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and preferably at least 5 years of related experience working with mechanical and plumbing contractors and engineers in the HVAC/Steam/Hydronics Industry.

Strong Mechanical and Relationship Building Aptitude.

Above average verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage time, achieve set goals and work successfully with limited direct supervision.

Willingness to proactively learn our industry and work as part of a team.
