Position: Account Manager Reports to: Director of Community Resources About Us: At Shepeard Community Blood Center, we're dedicated to saving lives through the power of blood donation. We're looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our team and help us meet the blood needs of our community. What You'll Do:
  • Engage and Inspire: Actively recruit groups and individual donors to support our life-saving mission.
  • Plan and Execute: Schedule and manage mobile blood drives within your assigned territory.
  • Analyze and Improve: Perform regular analyses to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and nurture strong professional relationships with blood drive sponsors.
  • Promote and Advocate: Increase visibility and awareness of our blood drives through public relations efforts.
  • Support and Follow-Up: Ensure every blood drive sponsor feels appreciated and supported.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in sales, marketing, or communications preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in outside sales, marketing, public speaking, or event planning.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and work independently.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Personality: Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about community service.
