Our client: Our client is a leading plastic supplier in the United States. The company provides thousands of grades of plastic resins to OEM's and plastic processors across North America. They are currently looking for an Account Manager in Ohio.

Position: Account Manager or Senior Account Manager

Summary: Sell plastic resins to OEM and plastic processors in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Responsible for account management and prospecting for new clients. This territory has an existing account base and plenty of possibilities for increasing top-line sales and the individual's commission pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Profitable revenue growth, including robust new business development.
  • Achieve stated gross margin targets as a percentage of sales.
  • Approach the sales process with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness
  • Prospecting and cold calling.
  • Develop, execute and manage sales plans, sales and expense budgets.
  • Develop account relationships, identify opportunities and capture service opportunities at strategic accounts within assigned geography or industry.
  • Coordinate closely with regional sales teams as well as technical support
  • Implement company pricing and market strategies as well as business practices. Negotiate customer contracts and value packages
  • Create and maintain CRM data and sales statistics as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related
  • 3-7+ years sales experience in distribution, manufacturing, sales, account management
  • Effective development of high, wide, and deep relationships
  • Complex thinking skills in translating customer needs into solutions.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Professional presence, including excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Broad knowledge of solutions, materials, and processing.
  • You have been told you're a self-motivated team player.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel preferred.
  • Able to travel up to 50% overnight
  • Experience working with CRM preferred
