Account Manager Role
The Account Manager primary responsibilities are to lead security guard service operations and effectively provide asset protection within the assigned site or region. The Account Manager will ensure the effective use of resources, metrics, and communication so that they provide the client with confidence in Inter-con provided security services. The Account manager is expected to be available and responsive on a 24/7 basis to solve site level security concerns, escalations and ensure personnel deployment.
Some Duties may include:
· Supervise the day-to-day security operations at assigned client site
· Manage a team of security officers and shift supervisors
· Assist in hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and development
· Ensure client site is provided with high quality security services to protect staffing and assets.
· Develop staffing's professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
· Build and maintain effective relationships between client and employees
· Plan and conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher courses for security personnel to include but not limited to KNET, CPR and other contract, state or local and corporate required training.
· Maintain operational procedures with valid, site-specific OPM and post orders available for emergency reference by the security staff
· Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
· Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
· Strategize and partner directly with Senior Leadership, Operations, and Loss Prevention to assist and support site level operations.
· Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate
· Support financial health by ensuring accurate and complete scheduling and anticipating and solving site level problems.
· Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime
· Notify client and IC management immediately if staffing level at any site falls below 95%
· Demonstrate resiliency and sound judgment in dealing with business challenges
· Be proficient on all Microsoft Office and MS Windows business tools
· Ensure comprehension of current Emergency Response Plan at all facilities;
· Ensure proper data is entered into Purchaser's security guard performance management tool “SPECTER” daily.
· Assists with screening during high traffic periods (breaks, end of shift, etc.)
· Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, unusual circumstances and/or behavior, maintenance issues, accidents, Injuries, etc.
· Participate in Emergency Evacuation and Take Shelter Events
· Ensure team members understand and align performance and actions with and can clearly articulate the vision and values of the organization and their department
· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Requirements:
· Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
· Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified
· Must understand, read, and write in English
· Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
· Valid State Guard Card
· Reliable Transportation
Work Environment and Schedule
· Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
· Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
· Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays, and overtime as directed (overtime occurs).
· Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.
