This position is located in our New Hope, MN, manufacturing facility. This is not a remote position.

Position Overview:

The Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving business growth by managing and nurturing relationships with existing accounts. This position requires collaboration with Sales Executives, key customers, brokers, and various internal departments such as Production, Distribution, and Finance. The goal is to ensure seamless transactions, enhance customer satisfaction, and continuously improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and strengthen customer relationships through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.

• Order Management: Accurately receive and process customer orders in accordance with company guidelines.

• Delivery Coordination: Work closely with the Distribution/Freight Department to resolve any delivery issues and ensure timely customer satisfaction.

• Data Utilization: Leverage syndicated data, customer reports, and portal information to support sales initiatives and enhance customer success.

• Customer Deductions: Partner with Finance/Accounting to address and resolve unauthorized customer deductions.

• Sales Forecasting: Assist Sales Executives in providing accurate sales forecasts and projections.

• Broker Collaboration: Work with the existing broker network to optimize account management strategies.

• Customer Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various company functions to support new customer and product opportunities.

• Best Practices Sharing: Work with other Account Managers to share best practices and provide mutual support.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

• Experience: Experience in B2B customer solutions and CPG experience is required. Experience with Walmart, Target or other large retailer preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with EDI, ERP systems, and retail customer portals is preferred.

• Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to think proactively and make independent decisions.

• Project Management: Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

• Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills with a commitment to performance excellence.

• Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and develop long-term business relationships.

Salary Range:

The expected annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000. This range reflects various factors such as education, skills, work experience, certifications, and more. Therefore, the final compensation for the selected candidate may fall anywhere within this range.
