Account Support Specialist - PBF Energy : Job Details

Account Support Specialist PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Account Support Specialist to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our location in Long Beach, CA. This person will be the point of contact for customers in the West Coast for issues on loading and maintaining relationships with them for the products group. Responsible for scheduling the movement of crude/clean oil or oil products via various methods of transportation: waterborne, pipeline, rail, truck. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update daily marketing P & L and contract compliance spreadsheets
• Setup customer loading numbers from beginning to end. (number creation , internal setup, DTN TABS set up, KM TopHat set up, communicate set ups with KM Las Vegas and Vernon)
• Update daily wholesale rack allocation in TABS for the West Coast
• Primary contact for customer loading issues
• Primary contact for trucking carriers on transmix and other products
• Primary contact for invoicing questions and customer mis-pulls.
• Work with customer on credit issues and liaison between customer and credit department
• Back up to Marketer on GPO approval/denial based on marketing and trading outlook that day.
• Update terminal reports and forecast marketing inventories
• Review and analyze demurrage claims
• Monthly additive reconciliation
• Manage insurance expiration dates
• Responsibilities will be expanded to handle additional trucking coordination on other products

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 1+ years of experience preferably in oil industry
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• DTN TABS and Kinder Morgan Tophat (desirable but not required)

CA Job Posting Requirement: The salary range for this position is $64,121.20 - $107,985.81. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate's compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases.
