OPEN JOB: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT LOCATION: Geneva, New York

• Initially on site in Geneva NY, hybrid and remote options available after initial orientation.

SALARY - USD $67,980 to $69,525 BENEFITS - Full SUMMARY:

• Under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager,
• Prepares assigned general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with departmental policy and procedures. Make recommendations regarding tightening internal control.
• Prepares for and participates in all internal and external audits as assigned.
• Perform analytical review and prepare financial and statistical statements as assigned.
• Completes all assigned internal, external, and regulatory reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory guidelines within the designated timeframes.
• Assumes a lead role within the finance team in setting high quality standards for policy/procedure compliance. Supports management staff by defining issues and prepares initial recommendation for management review and discussion.

REQUIRED:

• BS in Accounting
• 3+ years computerized accounting experience
• Experience using a spreadsheet application to complete complex analytical review.

PREFERRED:

• Prior healthcare experience is not required but would be helpful.
