Accountant - LATITUDE : Job Details

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency with multiple Accounting Software's (i.e. Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite). Day to Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Manage general ledger (GL) activities, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and payroll processing.
• Assist with annual audits and implement recommendations to improve processes.
• Analyze monthly financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support various financial initiatives and projects.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field (must include 18 credits in accounting).
• Minimum of four years of professional accounting experience.
• Self-motivated with strong multitasking abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
