AccountantDenver, ColoradoWithin our Finance team located in Denver, Leprino is seeking an Accountant to drive our organization to even greater levels of financial excellence! This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.Support monthly financial close processes, including preparing journal entries and ensuring compliance with company policies.Reconcile balance sheets on a monthly basis, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Partner with various departments to provide timely and accurate financial analysis of cost centers and offer insights into monthly variances.Assist with both internal and external audits by gathering data and ensuring that all financial statements adhere to regulations.Collaborate on budget preparation, including payroll and expense budgets, ensuring alignment with department goals.Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance financial reporting through the use of SAP and other financial tools.Support the Corporate Accounting team with financial analysis, account reclassifications, and coding for various internal reports.You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):Bachelors degree in Accounting.A solid understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.Proven experience working with Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting, including exposure to general ledger processes.The ability to work a weekly 3/2 (office/home) hybrid schedule.We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):Experience working with SAP or other enterprise financial systems.A Masters degree in Accounting or a related field.Background in manufacturing or food production industries.Leprino Foods celebrates and supports diversity.
