ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary:

This position is hands on, ground floor. You will be doing the work and presenting the results. This is not currently a supervisory role. You will be required to review and process invoices for payment and understand the who, what, why, and where of all expenses. You will also be working to bring control to the operation financial reporting process. These financial processes are in development so you will be both processing and reporting.

Responsibilities:

* Controller of a large unit of a restaurant manager company seeks assistant to develop, implement, and maintain an operational accounting environment

* A numbers or data person that is highly organized, analytical, detail oriented, with a commitment to deliver accurate, timely, and complete work products

* The daily routine is not defined; if you require a task list to perform, this is not for you

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Qualifications:

* 2-3 years Accounting Experience

* Some experience preferred or top of class graduate with ability to take ownership and deliver results

* Strong Excel and data skills (vlookup, pivot tables, if-statements, data mining, etc.)

* Fixed Assets Experienced preferred

* Oracle Experience preferred.

* Ability to sort and analyze large amounts of data and accurately summarize key findings is absolutely critical

* Strong data analysis skills

* Strong communication skills

* Set up and monitoring of operations, accounting processes, and procedures

* Some knowledge of accounting control environment, a plus

* Understanding of reconciliation of accounts, a plus

Pay range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
