About the Organization: Accountant

• Creative Financial Staffing of New York is working with a leading food industry organization located in the Hunts Point, Bronx area
• They are seeking a Accountant to join their team and report directly to the controller

• Assist with month end close activities including generating reports, analyzing data and account balances, preparing accrual and/or reclassifying entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the year-end financial statement audit
• Maintain Prepaid Expenses amortization schedules
• Demonstrate an understanding of P/L Statements and provide variance analysis to budget

Preferred Experience- Accountant

• 1+ years of full cycle accounting experience
• BA in Accounting is a must
