Job DetailsJob Details:Our dynamic construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Accounting Administrator. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking to apply their expertise in accounting, office administration, and clerical duties in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You'll be working closely with our financial team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. Responsibilities:1. Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: AP/AR, invoicing, payroll, bank reconciliations, expense reports, and cash management.2. Coordinate and execute financial transactions and activities, such as bill payment, invoicing, payroll, etc.3. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or as needed.4. Assist in the preparation of budget-based financial analysis for projects.5. Maintain company accounting procedures and processes.6. Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.7. Compile and analyze financial statements and ensure that all financial operations are accurate and timely.8. Keep a thorough record of business transactions and verify that they are recorded correctly in the general ledger.9. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors.10. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.3. Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular) and accounting software. Knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, or other construction industry software is a plus.4. Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).5. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a strong business mindset.6. Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.7. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.9. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.10.
