The Role: Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Family Office Accounting Associate will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the financial operations of the family office. This position offers an exciting growth trajectory, with opportunities to advance to Senior Associate within 1-1.5 years and ultimately take on a leadership role within 3-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lender Reporting: Prepare and manage lender reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, including intercompany accounts, investment assessments, and financial statement preparation.
- Investment Assessments: Take ownership of investment analysis and reporting, using advanced Excel skills to manage complex, formula-heavy spreadsheets.
- Bookkeeping and Financial Operations: (If applicable) Handle bookkeeping, account reconciliations, AP, close processes, and financial reporting.
- Process Optimization: Structure accounting books, improve intercompany account management, and provide big-picture analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- Collaborative Projects: Partner with team members on special projects and provide insights to enhance financial strategy.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a family office, public accounting, or investment-focused environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is required.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including handling complex formulas and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and provide actionable insights.

Growth Path:
- Start as a Family Office Accounting Associate with room to grow into a Senior Associate within 1-1.5 years.
