We're currently seeking an Accounting Clerk II who will be responsible for reviewing and auditing accounts and distributing charges and credits. Preparing journal entries for financial transactions such as taxes, insurance and depreciation. Auditing disbursement vouchers or other accounting documents. Completes reconciliations and investigates/resolves unusual items. How you will contribute:
- Responsible for detail reporting service area of accounting (postage, intercompanies, inventory transactions).
- Overseeing day-to-day transactions, verifying accuracy and general ledger posting, identifying, correcting discrepancies and handling bank reconciliations.
- Other miscellaneous/administrative duties including department support functions such as filing, mail sorting and distribution, report distribution, etc.
What you will bring and skills that excite us:
- High school degree.
- 2 or more of years experience.
- Familiar with standard Company accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with proficiency in Excel.
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be organized and have good attention to detail.
