Responsible for proper recording of a variety of accounting transactions such as cash deposits, employee and vendor payments. Enter transactions into the books and records of Borrego Health, includingCash receiptsAccounts payableCash disbursementsPayrollGeneral journal transactionsCross train in all accounting clerk dutiesMaintain and safeguard petty cash transactions, reports and reimbursement requestsFile accounting documents as directedPerform, or assist is performing, account analyses as directedAnswer questions from staff and vendors, as appropriate, or refer questions to the appropriate supervisorMaintain fixed asset records, including assets subject to rules regarding transfer or disposition of assets with a Federal interestComplete all travel and training arrangements, including conference registrations, airline and hotel reservations.Other duties as assigned.Staff Supervision:
May assist supervisor with staff training as necessary.May assist supervisor with evaluation of staff performance as requested.Responsible for compliance with all Borrego Health policies and procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
