Accounting Clerk - Robert Half : Job Details

Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounting Clerk in the construction sector. The position is based in Lubbock, Texas and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounting Clerk, your role will involve maintaining financial records, processing accounts, and managing data entry tasks.Responsibilities:- Ensure precise data entry of financial information.- Handle the processing of Accounts Payable effectively.- Engage in light collection tasks as required.- Process and reconcile expense reports in a timely manner.- Assist in the reconciliation of expense reports.- File financial documents and records systematically.- Attend to incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.- Take on special projects as assigned by the Accountant.- Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks.- Effectively use Microsoft Excel for managing and interpreting data. Requirements - Possession of a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in the accounting field- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes- Demonstrated skills in Data Entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail- Experience in Invoice Processing, with the ability to manage and track multiple invoices- Strong competency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and functions for financial calculations- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, with the ability to use it for various accounting tasks- Experience in Collections, with the ability to manage and track payments effectively- Knowledge of Expense Account management, including tracking and reconciling expenses- Proficiency in Expense Reconciliation, ensuring all expenses align with company policies and guidelines- Ability to manage Filing systems, ensuring all documents are organized and easily accessible.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
