Accounting Clerk Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Check email daily Print, sort, and deliver subcontractor invoices to PA's Print and scan project related immediate pays Deliver copy to PA's Enter in Sage Paperless for approvals - Keep copy to be paid weekly
Print and scan overhead invoices for entry into Sage Paperless Route for approval Sort, Scan, Copy, deliver invoices from mail Deliver to PA's if needed Enter into paperless for approval Immediate pays Overhead invoices Vendor Maintenance Cut weekly overhead and immediate pay checks Cut Project Related checks Cut checks Create lien waiver tracking sheets Track lien waivers with help of PA's when needed Update Bi-Weekly status Download and enter weekly credit card report from US Bank to HH2 Help train new employees on the use of HH2 Trouble shoot problems for employees in HH2 Accounts Receivable Receive, Code, Copy Checks Create PAP for approvals of payments Payroll Download & review weekly timecards for accuracy Create weekly project timecards report for review by PM's & PA's Enter timecard data to Job Cost module in Sage by chosen costing method. Track that all per diem is accurate Create summary sheet for payroll run to be sent out prior to payroll run Track and enter all payroll changes, reimbursements, deductions to ensure they are correct and up to date. Enter time for payroll and run payroll Download all necessary payroll reports Create and upload all necessary uploads 401k HSA Ensure all employees are being taxed in correct jurisdictions Research withholdings and reciprocal agreements for any future states BDB is considering as well as states we are in for new employees. Expert for Bamboo payroll and deductions Ensure new employees are correctly set up in Bamboo Second set of eyes Other Final Contract Letters Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
- A detail oriented individual with the ability to process data quickly yet accurately
- Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel,
- Experience working with Sage300 and is a plus
- The ability to handle a number of different duties simultaneously
- A high level of organization with the ability to enter data into electronic systems accurately
- Experience processing Multi State payroll.
