Accounting Clerk - Snelling : Job Details

05th December, 2024SNELLING STAFFING HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN ACCOUNTING CLERK AT OUR AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER CLIENT IN CHESTERFIELD $22-23/HOUR, TEMP TO HIREThe Accounting Clerk role will primarily work in the Accounts Payables Department and duties will include the following:

• Entering & Paying Invoices by ACH and check
• Answering vendor questions/communication
• Vendor input into Dynamics
• Balancing/reporting Payables spreadsheet
• Filing paid and ready-to-pay invoices
• Assisting with CPA Audit
• AIM reports, Inventory, Commission
• Use tax update
• Pay Credit Cards
• Will also be responsible for timekeeping in conjunction with payroll (approximately 100 employees) and eventually some work in Accounts Receivable.

Qualified Accounting Clerk candidates will have:

• 3+ years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role, manufacturing setting helpful but not required
• Basic understanding of Accounting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (required), Microsoft Dynamics (added bonus)
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to take on new tasks in all areas of the Accounting department
• Clear criminal background check
