Job Description

Title: Accounting Professional (Collection)

Location:Seattle, WA 98104Description: 3 to 6 Months

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Collection and accounts receivable management for AR trade customers
  • Ensure the complete and timely collection of accounts receivable
  • Analyze aged trial balance of accounts receivable
  • Communicate with customers and negotiate repayment terms
  • Respond to customer inquiries on a timely basis
  • Reconciliation of accounts receivable
  • Prepare special reports as required
  • Prepare and recommend credit files
  • Monthly reporting and journal entries
  • Credit department processes support and improvement
    • Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Team Player
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and high-stress situations with professionalism
  • Credit and accounts receivable experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel
  • College degree or equivalent experience is required; University degree is an asset
  • Accounting knowledge (university course or equivalent)
