About the Company:Our client is a well-established, extremely stable specialty foods distributor located in the Bronx, NY and is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant . This position is fully on site Monday through Friday 9am-5pm with free parking. • Invoice processing and reconciliation-Conduct meticulous three-way matching to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare transfers, check runs and ensure timely payment of all wholesale invoices
• Communicate with vendors
• Maintain detailed records, prepare and analyze AP reports and provide support to AP team as needed

Qualifications of Accounts Payable Accountant:

• Bachelors in Accounting or related field
• Experience in AP, strong understanding of three-way matching and inventory management
• Experience with AS400 and other automated systems
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication/ interpersonal skills
