Job Description :
The Role:Enso Village is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join our finance team. This position will play a key role in managing both accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, as well as billing and collections from residents. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer service-focused approach. This role will also be responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, supporting financial reporting, and assisting in data analysis.Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Management & Accounts Payable:
    • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and consistent data.
    • Maintain organized vendor records and documentation.
    • Process accounts payable transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and payments using accounting software.
    • Verify and compare purchase orders, pricing, terms of payment, and other charges.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills in accordance with department procedures.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Accounts Receivable & Billing:
    • Generate and send invoices to residents promptly and accurately.
    • Resolve discrepancies and answer billing-related questions from residents.
    • Track and resolve outstanding payment issues, communicating effectively with residents to ensure timely payments.
    • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
    • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize delinquencies.
  • General Accounting & Reporting:
    • Support the Senior Accountant with reconciliations, journal entries, and other financial tasks.
    • Analyze workflow processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
    • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as needed.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable processing.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service orientation.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial data.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop and kneel.
  • Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:Enso Village is committed to equal pay and transparency. The salary range for this position is $24.00 - $27.40.
