We are adding an Accounts Payable Associate to our team. This is an on-site position that will be based in Milan, Tennessee.Come see who we are at: would you do as our Accounts Payable Associate?You will receive, audit and voucher vendor invoices for payment for all expenses incurred by Ceco Door and the Door Group. This will include auditing all billed items, as well as the specific amounts to be charged.You would also:Handle all tasks related to Mac Pac payables, including voucher detail input (both direct and electronic orders), routine adjustments (such as changes in pay date, vendor holds, and debit memo processing), payment processing, intercompany payments, timely invoice filing, and resolving vendor inquiries on past due payments and discrepancies .Review and audit the “account to be charged” provided by requisitioners to ensure account classification aligns with company policy. Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve any discrepanciesUnderstand TN tax status rules (provided by supervisor) to determine the taxable status of non-inventory purchases, make necessary accruals, and correct any tax errors.Process daily stockroom disbursements into the AP system, weekly receipt invoices, and weekly freight bills.Audit, process, and confirm documentation for Door Group locations (Ceco, AASC, SMP, Pioneer, Stiles, and Concept). Review and discuss questionable expenses with the supervisor and employees.Support the annual physical inventory of the Ceco plant, particularly in the tag control area .Assist the accountant with intercompany payable balancing, journal entry keying, and necessary accrual processing .Be available to work overtime to meet business needs.Participate in a safe and harmonious working environment.Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of ConductOther projects and assignments, as needed.What we are looking for:High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Basic accounting experience preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including ExcelExcellent communication and time management skillsProficiency in operating adding machines.Strong typing skills.What we offer!We are passionate about providing amazing opportunities and benefits, so you can continue and progress a lifelong career with us.
