Our client, a manufacturer, is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate Location: Milpitas, CA Pay Rate: $23.50/hr What's the Job?

  • Download AP invoices from general AP email and save them in the shared drive.
  • Code & input vendor invoices into the AP system.
  • Act as point of contact for the A/P function and maintain contact with vendors to ensure timely payment and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure A/P processing is within the required guidelines and maintain an AP log for issues.
  • Assist with month-end closing and audits while preparing and publishing assigned AP reports timely.
What's Needed?
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role a must.
  • Strong 10-key skills are a must.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills; SAP experience preferred.
