Accounts Payable Clerk - Robert Half : Job Details

DescriptionWe are searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team and contribute to our operations in the agriculture industry, located in Visalia, California. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your role will include the processing of accounts payable transactions, verification and coding of invoices, as well as the reconciliation of vendor statements. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:- Manage and process accounts payable transactions for the company efficiently.- Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure that appropriate approvals and coding are obtained.- Enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring timely and accurate processing.- Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies and payment status.- Assist in month-end closing activities, including the preparation of accruals and reconciliations.- Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for effective job performance.Requirements - Proficiency in Account Reconciliation- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)- Familiarity with Check Runs- Ability to effectively perform Coding Invoices- Strong skills in Data Entry- Experience in Invoice Processing- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel- Familiarity with Oracle software- Knowledge of QuickBooks software- Experience with SAP software- Good understanding of general accounting principles- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Good organizational skills and attention to detail- Experience in the Agriculture industry is preferred.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
