Job Description:

We're looking for someone with an accounting background to join our Accounts Payable department. This position will require basic accounting knowledge and intermediate spreadsheet proficiency.

This is an on-site position located in our Houston Fallbrook Showroom, so this is not your traditional stuffy office job. The showroom is filled with designers, architects, builders, and excited homeowners selecting their appliances and cabinets for their dream kitchens, which contributes to a relaxed and professional working environment.

The primary focus of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to work with our vendors and suppliers to ensure were paying the correct amount for products and services received. This position will process supplier and installer invoices across all FBS locations in Texas as well as coordinate with local teams to resolve issues.

  • Maintain and reconcile assigned supplier and installer accounts by processing their invoices and credit memos.
  • Verify that serialized items received match with internal purchase orders/stock receipts.
  • Match and enter supplier credit memos for missing products or products not received to resolve problem invoices.
  • Accurately enter invoices and credit memos into accounting system.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure all invoices are provided.
  • Communicate with warehouse and purchasing departments to resolve receiving issues.
  • Scan copies of invoices and credit memos into company software.
  • Work with team members to reconcile invoices to vendor drafts.

  • College Degree or Certification with Accounting Coursework
