Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for setting up new vendors; edit and post payable batches; cutting checks after receiving appropriate approvals; resolution of vendor and client inquiries; Process EFT transactions for all entities.
- Works with the Accounts Payable Supervisor to support all functions of AP department for timely processing of invoices for the Affordable Housing communities and related corporate entities.
- Edit and post payable batches for invoices submitted for payment
- Complete weekly, or as on when required, check runs after receiving proper approvals and give printed checks to appropriate team members for mailing.
- Effectively and expeditiously responds to vendor and/or client inquiries, questions or disputes which includes hand-off to appropriate persons if cannot bring successful resolution on own.
- On an annual basis, prepares the 1099s for mailing to eligible vendors, and federal 1096 by the filing deadline.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Upload check registers on to bank portal for positive pay; handle exceptions in a timely manner. Initiate ACH and EFT transmissions of the Organization as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and some college courses in business administration, or related field
- 3 to 6 years applicable experience; or the equivalent combination of training and experience
- Prior experience performing full cycle Accounts Payable duties is highly desirable
- Prior experience in senior living or affordable housing is a plus

Location: This position is 100% onsite Monday-Friday at our Lafayette Hill, PA officeCompensation: $25-27/hr+ depending on experience and location
