- Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders.
- 3-way matching of POs.
- Bookkeeping.
- Code and book 100+ invoices daily.
- Process weekly check runs.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documents according to GAAP
- Assist with month-end closing operations.
- Assist in financial audit by developing/maintaining financial databases and updating supporting workpapers for audit purposes.
- Assist with bookkeeping and maintenance of important financial records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree is preferred (but not a must)
- Minimum 2+ years required experience in an account payable role.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new programs, applications, and processes and provide process improvement ideas.
- Ability to handle a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment and prioritize work.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience required, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, is a must.
- Familiar with ERP and relevant accounting software required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented; ability to balance time, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
