Accounts Payable Clerk - Mississipi Auto Direct : Job Details

Job DescriptionAuto Group South is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of accounting principles and a strong ability to multitask.Responsibilities:

• Process incoming invoices, verifying accuracy and coding them appropriately
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Assist with month-end close procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• General knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in accounts payable is a plus but not required
