Overview of the Accounts Payable Clerk RoleAs an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will:
- Oversee AP functions for multiple entities, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and vendor communication.
- Monitor procurement and expense oversight through AP/Procurement software.
- Maintain accuracy in accounts, including reconciling ledgers and registers.
- Assist with group billing and invoicing processes.
- Resolve vendor and staff inquiries related to accounts payable.
- Manage documentation such as contracts, Form W-9s, and insurance records.
- Support the Senior Accountant for HOA/Summit Club accounting as needed.
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and ensure efficiency.
- Represent the organization with professionalism, promoting a harmonious workplace.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk- Education: A high school diploma/GED is required. Additional accounting or financial education is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year in financial/accounting administrative support or related fields.
- Proficiency in financial record-keeping and bookkeeping practices.
- Familiarity with AP workflow and procurement software is a plus.
- Strong skills in data entry, spreadsheet management, and generating reports.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written. Professional email and letter etiquette are essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet organizational goals.
