Accounts Payable Clerk - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our client, a dynamic player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Altavista VA. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be part of the finance department supporting the accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk- Onsite

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range:$20.00

What's the Job

• Work with integrated ERP accounts payable software.
• Utilize specific knowledge of IBM systems and Infor / MAPICS software in a manufacturing environment.
• Open mail and date stamp invoices.
• Match invoices with electronic vendor receipts and enter invoices in MAPICS software.
• Prepare AP checks, bank wires, and Bank ACH payments, match with invoices, and submit for approval.

What's Needed?

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly IBM and Infor / MAPICS software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to maintain organized records and prepare reports, such as the Weekly Scrap Report.
