At Hendricks, you'll have the opportunity to teach what you know and learn what you don't-and community matters here.BE THE CEO OF YOUR JOBAs the Accounts Payable / Procurement Manager you are responsible for effectively planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the daily work and day-to-day workings of particular projects within your department. This position is responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and all aspects of leading an Accounts Payable team. Your ability to own your work and drive success will make a direct impact on the communities we serve.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, develop, and lead multiple team members.
- Oversee, train, discipline, and evaluate employees on a frequent basis.
- Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and uses of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Works closely with the SVP of Accounting to ensure a clean and timely audit.
- Review all Balance Sheet Reconciliations applicable to the Accounts Payable.
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable (AP) function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and invoices.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings for AP, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports.
- Implement company-wide PO policy and procedures.
- Reduce costs by evaluating and measuring supplier performance.
- Centralize purchasing based on company divisions.
- Negotiate and find suppliers to meet the company demand.
- Monitor cash flow, collections, and payments to ensure financial stability and maintain vendor and customer relationships.
- Implement and maintain best practices for AP processes, identifying areas for improvement and driving efficiency initiatives.
- Audits expense reports for accuracy, approvals and supporting documentation
- Manage positive pay maintenance to mitigate fraud.
- Manage company credit card process.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Experience and/or Training
- Minimum of 5 years related experience; Considerable knowledge of real estate and generally accepted accounting principles
Technology/Equipment
- MRI experience preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- U.S. Work Authorization (required).
