Position Overview
Join our dynamic team at Siemens Mobility Inc., Rolling Stock Division, as an Accounts Payable Reconciliation Specialist! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries and resolving invoice discrepancies, while collaborating with various departments to support our production demands.
What your day may look like:
* Conduct reconciliation and research on past due invoices.
* Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
* Contact suppliers to address price, delivery, and invoice issues.
* Communicate with various departments to resolve receiving issues.
* Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures.
* Escalate the approval process for urgent order placements.
* Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
* Analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
* Minimum 5 years in procurement or Accounts Payable.
* Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline.
* Proficiency in MRP tools like SAP and strong MS Excel skills; familiarity with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, and process control; results-oriented with the ability to meet project deadlines.
* Analytical and numerically astute with proven problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
* Ability to lead others in solving complex problems using sophisticated analytical thinking.
* Keen attention to detail and accuracy; experience with ISO 9000, TS16949, and AS9100 is a plus.
* Tenacious and assertive, capable of escalating issues within supplier organizations and internally; ability to understand, evaluate, and monitor supplier capacity.

This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The salary range for this role is $61,800-$72,500. This position is also eligible for overtime. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
