Volt is hiring Accounts Payable Specialists for a client's global engineering business focused on providing customers with air and gas compressors that help multiple sectors improve their everyday processes.Day-to-Day Activities Will Be:• Sort and distribute incoming mail• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly• Audit and process invoices, check requests, and credit card bills• Review and process expense reimbursements• 1099 maintenance• Respond to all vendor inquiries• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies• Conduct cash flow forecasting• Assist in month end closing• Maintain electronic files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices• Assist with other projects as neededRequired Qualifications:• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including working with contractors and outside vendors.• Microsoft Excel experience.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• High school diploma or GEDOther Desirable Qualifications:• Manufacturing background.• Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015.• College degree in Accounting.Pay Rate:$30.00 to $33.00 per hour paid every two weeks through Volt Workforce SolutionsSchedule:8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.Address:100% ON-SITE in WINDSOR, Connecticut 06095Duration:Contingent role for up to six months through Volt Workforce Solutions, with possibility but NOT guarantee of conversion to direct hire after that point depending on business needs and candidate performance.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
