Position Overview:Nye Health Services, a family-owned company that has been recognized nationally for our care, service, and culture is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Corporate Office located in Fremont, NE. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing accounts payable functions for multiple campuses within our organization. This position is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, handling vendor interactions, processing credit card transactions, and assisting with weekly check runs. People live, and work happy here!Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable Functions
  • Data Entry: Gather, enter, and process all Accounts Payable (A/P) information received from all campuses
  • Credit Card Management: Allocate credit card expenses across campuses
  • Credit Card Processing: Collect receipts, ensure correct coding, manage sales tax entries, and resolve missing documentation for all campus credit cards
  • Weekly Check Runs: Execute weekly check runs across all campuses, ensuring accurate processing and distribution
  • Contract Labor Invoice Management: Verify contract labor invoices as reviewed by the Controller, matching them with approved documents from campuses
  • Campus Inquiries: Answer campus-related questions regarding invoices, payments, and account statuses
  • Record Maintenance: File weekly check runs and manage the organization of all processed payments
Vendor & Compliance Management
  • W9 Management: Locate and enter W9 information for new vendors
  • Process one-off check requests as needed, managing any unique or special payment circumstances
  • Vendor Relations: Address issues related to missing, delayed, or disputed payments with vendors, ensuring timely resolution
  • Insurance Compliance: Track and maintain insurance certificates for all contract labor vendors
Reception and First Impression Duties
  • Front Desk Management: Greet walk-ins, answer phones, and maintain a professional first impression for the organization
  • Office Operations: Manage high-level copy machine/printer tasks, and assist with label printing
  • Mail Management: Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution
  • Supplies Coordination: Order and maintain inventory of stationery and office supplies
  • Oversee the calendar for company cars, ensuring availability and scheduling efficiency
Qualifications:Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.Experience: 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting, ideally within healthcare or multi-site operations.Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and campus interactions
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed financial records and documentation
