Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist II Location: San Antonio, Texas (on-site) Pay Rate: up to $26 / hour Internal Job ID: 10034208 Addison Group is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist II for a client in San Antonio, Texas. This role is a contract-to-hire position paying up to $26 per hour, contingent on relevant experience. Responsibilities:
- Oversee payment processing and expense control by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
- Reconcile completed tasks by verifying entries and comparing system reports to account balances.
- Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts by analyzing invoices and expense reports and recording entries.
- Process vendor payments by scheduling and preparing checks, resolving discrepancies in purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Secure credits for outstanding memos.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency with 2-way matching.
