Accounts Payable Specialist - Pridestaff : Job Details

Accounts Payable Specialist We are excited to share a new opportunity! PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has been given an opportunity to assist a top employer in Fort Myers! Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Pay Rate: $17/hr. $19/hr. DOE Location: Fort Myers, FL Experience: 1+ Years Job Responsibilities include:

• Enter payables in a timely manner and properly cost them to the appropriate cost center and project
• Reconcile vendor balances
• Perform vendor file maintenance
• Pay vendors
• Schedule and prepare checks
• Resolve any purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and document accordingly
• Ensure credit is received for outstanding memo
• Maintain and generate reporting to identify delinquent accounts and other collection measurements
• Collections of outstanding receivables on a daily basis through telephone and written communication
• Monitor assigned accounts in order to cash flow and profitability
• Daily entry into accounting system
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Recent experience working in accounting or accounts payable / receivable
• Recent and proficient QuickBooks experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet daily deadlines, and multi-task in fast paced environment
• Bilingual preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong data entry skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and oral as well as problem-solving skills
• Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
