Responsibilities & Qualifications:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process a high volume of invoices daily
  • Code invoices in accordance with the established chart of accounts.
  • Review and process employee expense reports In Concur
  • Assist with processing weekly batch check runs
  • Support the month end process and team goals
  • Collaborate with various departments internally and externally
  • Manage invoices in PNC Workflow and identify discrepancies
  • Reconcile stale checks and credits.
  • Identify process improvements and initiate projects to optimize current accounting processes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
  • Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end
  • Manage AP Mailbox and respond to requests in order of importance. Escalate issues in an appropriate manner
  • Maintain organized filing system of open and paid vendor invoices
  • Respond to vendors and field telephone/email requests within 24 hours
  • Contribute to audit readiness by maintaining accessible documentation, and accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with field locations
  • Support audit requests as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Accounts Payable required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accouting, Finance, or Business related field required.
  • Proficient in MS Office specifically Excel and related functions (e.g. pivot tables, VLookups, and additonal formulas).
  • Experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Netsuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and management of multiple deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of manager
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines on days that are critical to the finance department
  • Open to change and willing to learn new skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong collaborative and partnering skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
