Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
Objective: The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing all daily transactions, including interfacing data from our mainframe AS400. The role involves processing payments timely, ensuring backups correspond to checks produced, and communicating professionally with business partners regarding any discrepancies in the accounts payable flow. You will match backup and mail checks when produced, research inquiries, and resolve related discrepancies. This description is not all-encompassing as other ad hoc tasks are expected.
Essential Functions:
In charge of interfacing the following processes:
National Account Payment Listings and Independent Shops - Weekly
Purchasing Queue Daily
Settlements Weekly
Discount Vendors Weekly
HelpDesk including vendor setup and IRS vendor TIN verification
Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.

This is a contract position with a duration of 12-18 Month(s).
Work Environment
Hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA (initial in-office training followed by hybrid 3-day in office split). Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
