In this role, you will:

Responsible for processing accounts payable invoices and maintaining vendor files, while upholding the strictest confidentiality of information.

  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and required approval prior to payment.
  • Attaches matching purchase order forms and packing slips to related invoices. Requests this information from the necessary departments when missing.
  • Ensures all negotiated contracts and purchase orders are paid as agreed upon.
  • Makes sure that all credits due to the Company are properly documented.
  • Researches vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies and responds in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Answers all vendor inquiries via phone call, e-mail or fax.
  • Performs daily input of invoices into the accounting system while posting batches on a daily basis.
  • Prepares monthly invoice(s).
  • Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and payable files.
  • Files paid invoices with corresponding check numbers.
  • Complies and maintains accounts payable procedures, updating them when necessary.
  • Keeps company integrity by maintaining security and confidentiality of all data, procedures and data system components.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all State, Federal, professional regulations as well as department rules, polices, and procedural manuals.
  • Adherence to HIPAA, Safety and OSHA Regulations.

All you need is:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of related experience and/or training
  • A/P experience required
