The A/P Specialist will own the A/P process for the company and will ensure all processes are followed, maintaining appropriate records, ensuring compliance, and working on ways to improve the process. The ideal candidate is comfortable working alone as well as part of a team.RequirementsEnter A/P, including 3 way matches with Purchase Orders (PO), and non-PO invoices, including employee expense reimbursementsClarify any questionable invoice items, prices, and obtaining approvalsReview Supplier statements and respond to all A/P related correspondenceProcess weekly A/P payment processingReview daily bank activity (cash out)Monthly credit card reconciliation1099sSupplier maintenance including banking verificationsMaintain meticulous records of outstanding payables, ensuring the accuracy of Tyber's financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposesAnnual audit, tax return, R&D credit supportAnalysis of the A/P Clearing AccountProvide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organizationBackup for Accounts Receivable and other duties as assigned2+ years of related experience OR Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited universityKnowledge of the general accounting procedures; General Ledger and coding expenses, including by location, department, project, etc.Detail oriented with capability to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal communication skills: ability to work with people across multiple departments.Excellent follow-up skills when approvals are neededMust possess strong analytical and organizational skills, understand how to trace in our ERP and understand find the cause of issuesDetail oriented with capability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (such as Epicor, SAP, JD Edwards, Great Plains) preferredStrong communication skills both verbally and written
