JOB SUMMARY: A successful Accounts Receivable Associate will help to nurture profitable program entity relationships such that Customers value our premium finance services and we achieve superior, sustainable financial returns. The Accounts Receivable Team is responsible for all incoming cash, checks, money orders, wire transfers and any other form of monetary receipts. Monetary receipts are applied to customer loan accounts, bank deposits (i.e. remote deposit) and cash file downloads completed and reconciled daily. This full-time position requires a highly organized, analytical professional who is cognizant of deadlines and diligent with follow-up tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify incoming client, agent, general agent, and insurance carrier check payments
- Scan checks for remote deposit via bank software
- Prepare bank files for import into our payment system
- Review and post receipt exception items
- Complete daily cash reconciliation spreadsheet for Accounting
- Process bank return transactions
- Process adjustment and correction requests
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Job relevance: At least 1-3 years cash related experience; 10-key by touch
