EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Related computer experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports directly to the Director of Operational Performance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged sitting.
  • Repetitive hand, wrist and shoulder motion.
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Extensive reading, writing, talking.

ADMINISTRATIVE:

  • Maintaining up-to-date billing systems and carrying out billing duties.
  • Allocating, following up, and collecting payments.
  • Reporting all daily work-related activities.
  • Following very specific and strict deadlines.
  • Performing account reconciliations and monitoring the customers' account details.
  • Being on the lookout for delayed or missed payments and other such irregularities.
  • Researching and resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Reviewing account statuses and generating age analyses.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company's procedures.
  • Investigating and solving customer complaints and queries.
  • Communicating with customers through means such as phone, email, or face-to-face.
  • Using various pieces of software to keep track of data.
  • Keeping documents up to date by scanning documents into the database.

PROFESSIONAL:

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to do detailed multi-tasks.
  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with patients as well as outside vendors.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment.
