Accounts Receivable Clerk - Robert Half : Job Details

DescriptionWe are searching for a diligent Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This role is based in Bozrah, Connecticut, within the finance industry. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for tasks such as invoicing, managing cash receipts, and maintaining spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:- Efficiently managing customer invoices and ensuring they are accurately processed- Handling cash receipts and making sure they are properly recorded- Maintaining detailed and up-to-date spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel- Undertaking collections calls to ensure timely payments- Overseeing billing processes and ensuring customers are billed correctly- Utilizing skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks effectively.Requirements - Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk- Proficiency in utilizing Accounts Receivable (AR) software- Demonstrated skills in Billing procedures and cash applications- Experience in Cash Collections and Commercial Collections- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data- Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
