The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is a permanent position and requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of finance. The Accounts Receivable Lead will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial activities and contributing to our firm's overall financial health.Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including billing, cash application, and collections.
• Coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and submitted on time.
• Reconcile complex accounts, identifying any discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management, highlighting any significant issues or trends.
• Work closely with other departments to improve processes, increase efficiency, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring our firm's compliance.
• Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the finance department.
• Collaborate with external auditors, providing all necessary information and addressing any queries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Proven experience with month-end close, cash application, and reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership skills, with proven experience in staff supervision and training.
