Drive Financial Stability & Lead a High-Impact AR Team at Sheridan!Sheridan is seeking a strategic and results-driven Accounts Receivable Manager to lead credit and collections across our brand. In this role, you'll work closely with high-risk customers, the commercial team, and finance leaders to minimize bad debt exposure, optimize cash flow, and drive process improvements.We're looking for someone who thrives on solving complex financial challenges, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and has the confidence to take charge and drive meaningful change.   • Lead & Manage AR Strategy: Oversee credit and collections, guiding offshore resources and maintaining customer master data.
  • Optimize Cash Flow: Monitor major AR portfolios, resolve disputes, and implement solutions to minimize late payments and bad debt.
  • Shape Customer Payment Behavior: Establish payment plans, send demand letters, and coordinate collection agency efforts.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with commercial, finance, and legal teams to improve customer compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement best practices to streamline credit and collections processes.
  • Support Financial Reporting: Run month-end aging reports and advise on reserve allowances.
  • Evaluate & Set Credit Limits: Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers to maintain a healthy financial pipeline.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of credit management experience, including expertise in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
  • Strong leadership skills: ability to manage teams and work effectively with offshore resources.
  • Excellent communication: ability to present financial insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset: proactive, persistent, and solution-oriented.
