Responsibilities include all accounts receivable related functions, including keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts; planning course of action to recover outstanding payments; heavy phone activity with customers; locating and contacting debtors regarding payment status; negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans; handling questions or complaints; investigating and resolving discrepancies; establishing good relationships with customers; updating account status and database regularly; alerting supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts; complying with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.Skills/QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma/GED2+ years' collections experienceAbility to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goalsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internetPreferredAccuracy and attention to detailExcellent internal and external customer service skillsExperience with SAP and AS400BenefitsCintas offers comprehensive and competitive medical, dental and vision benefits, with premiums below the national average.
