This job was posted by : For more information, please see: SUMMARYUnder the general direction and supervision of the Controller and the Executive Director of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for processing accounts receivable on a daily basis. This includes the posting of receipts for the hospital, ambulance, and long-term care facility while balancing to the daily deposits. Additionally, the accounts receivable clerk will be responsible for daily and month end closings as well as serve as back up and redundancy for Accounts Payable.GIBSON AREA HOSPITAL & HEALTH SERVICES MISSION STATEMENTTo provide personalized, professional healthcare services to the residents of the Communities we serve.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Provides service-oriented direction and guidance regarding accounts receivable within GAHHS.2. Process accounts receivable and post to accounts on a daily basis while balancing to the daily deposits.3. Daily and Month End closes.4. Investigates errors or discrepancies in accounts receivable in a timely fashion.5. Wears clothing and Hospital badge consistent with dress code, and attends to personal hygiene to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance.6. Performs additional duties as assigned.
