  • Perform entry of daily cash applications involving deposits, adjustments, write-offs, refunds, etc.
  • Daily prepare, research, and post in-house checks received
  • Handle and/or assist with various accounts receivable research for resolutions
  • Assist in the management of accounts receivable related requests and action items from AR inbox in a timely manner
  • Confirm necessary requests are completed and addressed
  • Perform general administrative functions, including research, data entry, e-filing, scanning, etc.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • One to three years of experience in cash application/client services or a similar role
  • Strong service orientation and ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Detail-oriented nature with a high capacity for learning and retaining information
  • Team player who works proactively, takes initiative in solving problems, and takes actions beyond normal responsibilities
  • Ability to coordinate with other departments on client-related matters
  • Understanding of general accounting principles and ability to apply them to daily workload
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience with Deltek Vision a plus
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires visual acuity and listening ability along with the ability to read and write. Individuals must have the dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computer, printer, fax, copier, telephone, voice mail system, and other office equipment. Position mainly involves working at a desk and requires the ability to remain for extended periods at a workstation. Annual starting base salary (gross):$42,500 - $57,500. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
