Scheduled Days & Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Full Time: 40+ Hours Wage: $25-28 per hour Ideal Candidate Criteria: The ideal candidate for this position will have 4+ years experience with Accounts Receivable. Job Duties:
- Gather and verify details for appropriate documentation prior to raising invoices and sending them to customers
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied withing 24 to 48 hours, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
- Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
- Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
- Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting
- Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts
- Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement
- Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
- Ability to move from tactical to strategic thinking.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in invoice payments, and financial records.
- Willingness to support the team with hands-on processing support.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Needed:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including billing procedures and credit control.
- Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks is required.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
