Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSummaryThis position works alongside the Commodities Team performing duties including accounting, invoicing, customer support, accounts receivable, collections, and data entry. This position also provides backup support to the probe house, scale house and corn accounting. Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Produce invoices for a multiple of ethanol products.
  • Track and manage freight payables.
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports using grain accounting software.
  • Monitor accounts receivables for past due balances or other issues.
  • Contract Management; entering contracts, monitoring contracts for accuracy and timely deliveries, generating load numbers, etc.
  • Respond to customer inquiries on the phone, in person, and through electronic communication.
  • Corn accounting (backup) - creating settlements, checks, paying freight.
  • Scale house operator (backup) - weighing inbound and outbound trucks, ensuring proper applications, providing excellent customer service.
  • Probe house operator (backup) - grading and monitoring quality of incoming grain.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business agriculture or accounting required. Equivalent education, or a combination of education and relevant work experience, may be considered to meet this requirement.
    • Experience with customer service and data entry required
    • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook and Excel required
    • Experience with grain accounting software is a plus
